On Saturday, June 14, 2025, the University SSST campus hosted the graduation ceremony for the sixth generation of SSST Gymnasium students.
The ceremony was opened with inspiring speeches by Emina Ganić, Chair of the School Board, Senad Alić, Principal of SSST Gymnasium, and homeroom teachers of the graduating classes, Professors Nerim Herenda and Armin Zahirović.
Emina Ganić emphasized how the students had grown from their first school desks into independent young individuals, capable of making decisions about their own knowledge and life paths. She reminded them of an important lesson this generation has learned amid the challenges of modern times – that we do not inherit the world, but build it every single day. “Today, we are not only celebrating what you have accomplished, but everything you have the potential to become,” Ganić added.
Senad Alić reflected on the transformation the students underwent during their high school years. “You are leaving school as young people full of potential, ready to shape your own futures,” said Alić, highlighting that this generation demonstrated resilience, courage, and unity even in difficult times. He thanked families and teachers for their support and encouraged the graduates to believe in themselves and their values.
Top student Maryam Amina Kulovac also gave a heartfelt speech, proudly recalling shared moments of the class of 2025. “These four years were filled with laughter, challenges, small victories, and important lessons that helped shape us,” Kulovac said. She expressed special gratitude to the school founders, teachers, and her homeroom teacher Armin Zahirović, as well as to her family and friends. She added that her schooling taught her success doesn’t come from avoiding challenges, but from facing them bravely – with the help and support of others. “We don’t know exactly what lies ahead, but we do know we have what it takes to face it,” she concluded.
All graduates received their diplomas, with special recognition given to students who achieved exceptional academic results. Maryam Amina Kulovac received the Golden Badge and was recognized as the best student of her class, while the Silver Badges were awarded to Mona Tafi, Rua Melek Kadribašić, Harun Delibašić, Haris Bošnjaković, Ema Hadžić, Amar Herenda, Lana Nura, Ishak Soko, and Uma Jovanović.
The ceremony concluded with the traditional tossing of graduation caps, symbolizing the end of one chapter and the beginning of another in the lives of these young individuals. Following the official program, the celebration continued with a lunch and informal gathering on the premises of University SSST.
To the class of 2025, we wish you happiness, courage, and success in all your future endeavors. SSST Gymnasium proudly sends off another generation of young people ready to shape the world around them.
