GSSST Students Present Their Projects at European Researchers’ Night

Students of Gimnazija SSST took part in European Researchers’ Night, an event that brings science and research closer to the wider public through a variety of activities and presentations.

At this year’s event, two groups of GSSST students presented their projects.

GSSST student Ema Mešević presented the SEMAIR project, a smart air quality monitoring system inspired by the issue of air pollution in our city and its impact on health. She developed the project under the mentorship of professors Ema Pašić and Dina Pašić.

The Vox Artis team also presented their project. The team consists of students Hena Jaganjac and Šejma Ferhatović, with student Ajas Kapetanović providing support on the day of the presentation. They presented LinguArt, an innovative student project that connects foreign language learning with art through an interactive application based on well-known works of art. The aim of the project is to make language learning more creative, engaging and accessible to everyone, with a particular focus on students with learning difficulties and older adults. The project was developed under the mentorship of professor Emina Mešić.

Participating in European Researchers’ Night gave the students an opportunity to present their projects to a wider audience, discuss their ideas and experiences in developing them, and engage with other participants and projects related to science, research and innovation.

Events of this kind are an important part of practical learning, as they give students an opportunity to apply the knowledge gained through their studies to concrete projects, develop their own ideas and gain experience in presenting their work.

Congratulations to Ema, Hena and Šejma, as well as their mentors, on their hard work and dedication to developing and presenting these projects.
